Refurbished Philips Affiniti 50 colour doppler installed in Veterinary Practice
Probo Medical’s Vet Sales Manager, Fraser Yule provided training on the recently installed and refurbished Philips Affiniti 50 colour doppler scanner at the Vet Centre in Maids Moreton, Buckingham. All the vets loved the system and came away from the installation training with a huge amount of enthusiasm for using it on a wide range of applications in their dynamic animal surgery.
Vet Surgeon Rebecca, pictured below scanning a cat that was admitted with suspected pancreatitis, a thorough scan with the high frequency linear probe found a high volume of material in the gall bladder which will be flushed. Fraser said “it was great to see the scanner already making a difference for their patients and I’m delighted they are utilising its full capabilities. The Affiniti 50 has excellent performance both in cardiology and general imaging with a full specification, allowing any practitioner to easily grow and develop their skills”.
